Henry Wilson was born in Sydney Australia. Graduated honors in Visual Arts (woodwork) at Australian National University, Canberra (2002-2005 BVA (Hons.)) and received the HSP Huygens scholarship at The Design Academy Eindhoven for Postgraduate studies (2008-2010) MA (Des.) In 2010 Henry set up a studio for multidisciplinary design in Sydney which is currently focussing on locally produced furniture, lighting and interiors. Many items are available as self-build components or fully resolved ‘in-house’ pieces. The collection continues to grow organically, committed to honestly resolved concepts with a focus on longevity. Whether it be revisiting existing objects or producing new work, SHW is dedicated to experimenting on the process of design and production.
