Premier Badminton League 2016, Premier Badminton League is a franchise league, managed and commercially owned by the Badminton Association of India, his season, which is set for 15 days of back to back games, is held to take place from 2–17 January 2016. The Opening Ceremony was held in Mumbai and the Grand Finale will be held in Delhi. The objective of the tournament is to bring top Indian players along with International players on the same platform. Premier Badminton League aims to ride on the popularity that the sport has gained in the country over the years. Premier Bollywood Superstar Akshay Kumar is the brand ambassador of this league.
