The Australian International Optimist Dinghy Association (AIODA) is the national class organisation for Optimist dinghy sailing in Australia. AIODA is the country member of the International Optimist Dinghy Association (IODA), which is the international body that groups national Optimist Associations in charge of the regulation and development of Optimist sailing in each country. IODA is a member of the International Sailing Federation (ISAF), which is the world governing body for the sport of sailing, officially recognised by the International Olympic Committee (IOC).
