Debra Huse is an award-winning contemporary impressionist acclaimed for her rich use of oil color and bold, fluid style. Her subjects range from land and seascapes to historic boats, farms and towns. Debra is inspired to share the working waterman's lifestyle & history which takes her to many historic harbors to paint and has a working studio in a southern California boatyard. Debra is popular teacher, avid plein air painter and a signature member of Laguna Plein Air Painters Association, American Impressionist Society, Pastel Society of America as well as a member of Oil Painters of America, Hoosier Salon, American Society of Marine Artists, California Art Club and Southern California Plein Air Painters. She has participated in many plein air Invitationals including Plein Air Easton, LPAPA and many more.
