El Instituto Buenos Aires nace en la comunidad de Isidro Casanova, Partido de La Matanza, el 14 de marzo de 1988 bajo el nombre de Jardín de Infantes “Los Pinitos” - DIPREGEP 2514. Un año después, se funda el Colegio Buenos Aires - DIPREGEP 2654 y año a año, fue inaugurando un grado más a la enseñanza.
