As you may be able to see from my picture, I take cheering for my daughter very seriously. It was killing me to know that I was missing out on so many memories because no one was taking pictures. I had a good friend (who is an awesome photographer) who would come to a few games a year and shoot pictures for me. Once my daughter started playing in College I wanted to preserve every minute she spent on the court. I started taking pictures myself and sharing them with her teammates. I quickly realized how much I loved catching these once in a lifetime moments and sharing them. Now I take the photography as serious as the cheering! I regularly cover sports professionally for Newsday, The Suffolk Times, The Riverhead News Review and The Shelter Island Reporter. Its awesome to be able to share my work with a much larger audience.
