Godly Writers - The Beginner's Guide For Christian Writers. My name’s Charles, I’m slightly Crazy About Church, and I created this website because I don’t know what to do next. No, seriously, it’s the truth. You see, I wrote a book and this is the next step for me in the weird process of figuring out how to get that pile of rubbish sold and published once and for all. I’m a writer, a pastor, a website designer, a husband and father of five…but mostly just a guy trying to figure it all out. I have a passion for technology, for reading and writing, and for figuring out how the worlds of traditional- and self-publishing are evolving before our eyes.

The purpose of this site is to get to the truth of the matter. Contained in this site are some indepth Bible studies that I have done trough the years on some very controversial doctrines or teachings of different denominations of the church. It is my belief that that these different denominations can resolve all their differences and come into the unity of faith and speak the same things, if they would step back long enough to take a close look at the whole word of God. In order to know the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, we must all lay aside our preconceived ideas that we have been taught all our lives and take a fresh and much deeper look into the word of God. Please read each study in its entirity, because a matter cannot be judged rightly until the whole of the matter is known. You may have heard studies like the ones here in this site before and say to yourself, "Oh I have heard that before". However, it may be that these particular studies in this site will "ring that bell" or "light that light" inside of your brain and your spiritual eyes will be wide open to see the truth of God's word that you never saw before. Thank you Peace, Jeffrey Mironov" new york studio guitarist Born in New Haven,Connecticut, Ed moved to New York in 1978 to play guitar with Dizzy Gillespie from 1978 to 1992 performing in Gillespie's quartet, big band and with The United Nation Orchestra which recorded the Grammy Award-winning Live at Royal Festival Hall (Enja). Gillespie died in 1993, and Cherry released his first recording as a leader, 'First Take' (Groovin' High). That same year, Ed recorded with Paquito D'Riveras' small group and recorded "Havana Cafe" (Chesky Records). Ed also worked with composer/saxophonist Henry Threadgill for two years and recorded  three cds with Henry's 'Very Very Circus' group. In 1995, Cherry released his second project as a solo artist, entitled A Second Look (Groovin' High). During that same period Ed worked with Hammond organist John Patton recording three critically acclaimed cds with Patton's quartet-'Blue Planet Man','Minor Swing' and 'This ones for Jah'(DIW). From 1997 to 1998, Cherry worked in Roy Hargrove's “Crisol” Latin jazz band, which performed in Havana, Cuba. During this same period, he also worked w/baritone saxophonist, Hamiett Bluiett, recording  'With Eyes Wide Open' on Justin-Time records. In 2001, Cherry toured Europe for the first time with his own group. He also released his latest CD, The Spirit Speaks on the Canadian Justin Time label, inspired by the great jazz organist Jimmy Smith with whom he had also recently worked.Ed was asked to perform at the 'Vodaphone Madarao Jazz festival' in 2002 in Madarao Japan with his quartet featuring trumpeter Jon Faddis. In 2003 Ed performed with his quartet at Detroit Jazz Festival.  Right now,Ed is a member of vocalist Paula West quartet as well as leading his own trio. In addition to his stellar work as a sideman and as a critically acclaimed leader, Ed Cherry also has impressive credentials as a music educator. He taught guitar at Essex Community College in Newark, NJ from 1995 to 1996, and at the Henry Street Settlement in New York City from 1996 to 1997. He was also a faculty member at Montclair State University, School of Fine and Performing Arts for J.O.Y. (Jazz Opportunity for Youth).Ed is currently on staff at 'jazzmobile' here NYC.Ed's most current recording "it's all good" is available through  www.posi-tone.com    Recently Ed has been recording for L.A Jazz Juggernaught, Posi-Tone. His new release "Soul Tree" was just released to rave reviews. Zilpha Keatley Snyder, an avid early reader, decided at the age of eight that she was a fiction writer. After many sporadic attempts at novel writing during her high school and college years, her literary efforts ceased for almost ten years while she concentrated on being a teacher, wife and mother. It was teaching in the upper elementary grades that influenced her decision to try to write for children. Her first book for young people came out in 1964 and her forty fourth book for young people was published in September 2009.
