Louis Raphael is a San Francisco-based freelance photographer that specializes in Landscape and Portrait photography. As a youngster, Raphael was captivated by the simple magic of taking candid Polaroids of family and friends. This sprouted into a full-fledged passion as he entered his early adulthood and began taking film photography classes at Santa Monica Community College. It was at that time that Raphael gained local attention via public exhibitions, where he projected his work across commercial buildings in Downtown Los Angeles via an old Kodak carousel slide projector. His passion has recently been rekindled, and today, Raphael offers a focus on landscapes and portraits, working for the likes of the San Francisco Department of Tourism, where he delivers iconic images of the Golden Gate Bridge, the San Francisco skyline and so many other beloved images. After becoming the first person to use computer technology for onboard scoring of Charleston Race Week in 2005, Parker was toting a camera as part other racing official gear -- generally a scoring pad, whistle, flags, and an accurate clock. After 30 years of either competitor or race committee member in sailing events, Parker figured it time she started recording the experience for enjoyment later. The switch from 35mm to digital brought about a new and different world of photography. Her shots have captured soaked racing jocks standing parallel to the waves on the edge of a sailboat; the ominous view of the Spirit of South Carolina tall ship as it passes under the Cooper River span; and colorful clusters of competitors that have come to Charleston from lands afar to test the Charleston currents. Her work has been featured in national sailing and boating publications, as well as local news media. The New Bern, NC native has become an indelible member of the Lowcountry sailing community as a member of the Charleston Ocean Racing Association, South Atlantic Yacht Racing Association, Charleston Yacht Club and volunteer with the Leukemia Lymphoma Society Leukemia Cup Regatta and past volunteer for the Maritime Heritage Foundation. Her work speaks of her love for the sport and passion to immortalize the moment.

Based in Los Angeles and Chicago, Everything Is Collective (E.I.C.) is an ongoing collaboration between Aaron Hegert, Jason Lukas, and Zachary Norman. Since 2013 the group has worked together on numerous exhibitions, publications, and web-based projects, all of which address contemporary cultural issues through photography and digital images. The collective has exhibited their work nationally and internationally including recent exhibitions at the Aperture Foundation in New York, Royal Nonesuch Gallery in Oakland, Filter Space in Chicago, and the Urban Arts Space at Ohio State University. The collective also runs a small book press that publishes works by members of the collective and also commissions experimental works by independent artists. Recent publications from Everything Is Collective Press have been featured and reviewed widely in print and on the web, and have been acquired by the collections of Joan Flasch Artists' Book Collection at SAIC and the MoMA Library in New york, among others.
