The 2D New Jersey Brigade is a 501(c)(3) non-profit living history organization dedicated to the commemoration of the people and events of the American Civil War History through accurate and educational portrayals. We offer a unique integrated Brigade format internally composed of various military and civilian organizations. The 7th Regiment Infantry, N.J. Volunteers, Company A, is a full reenactment Infantry Unit performing battle reenactments, living histories, commemorations, parades and presentations, and is also a line company in the 2d Regiment USV. The Regiment also includes the experienced 7th New Jersey Field Music Volunteers and the fully functioning 7th New Jersey Field Hospital.

Located at the eastern edge of Fredericksburg Texas, Fort Martin Scott was the first U.S. military post to be established on the western frontier of Texas. Today it is brought back to life during many of the regularly scheduled living history reenactments and events.
