Bill Thompson is a sound artist and composer whose work has been performed extensively throughout the UK and abroad.A native of Texas, he relocated to the UK in 2004 to pursue a PhD in Composition. Since then he has received numerous awards and commissions including the PRS for New Music ATOM award, the GAVAA visual arts award, a PRS for New Music Three Festival commission, the 2010 Aberdeen Visual Arts Award, and was nominated for the Paul Hamlyn Award in 2012.As an artist, he has a particular interest in perception and embodied presence. His installations and performances frequently utilize found objects, field recordings, repurposed live electronics, and digital media to create environments that encourage active attention to each moment. He applies this same strategy within his compositional work which often include long sustained tones, densely layered textures, and indeterminate or improvised structures. He has written for a range of instruments including voice, guitar, contrabass, bagpipe, percussion, organ, string quartet, mixed ensembles and live electronics. As a solo performer he works primarily with live electronics although originally trained as a guitarist.In addition to working as a solo artist, Thompson has collaborated with choreographer Ian Spink for several years in their company Airfield. Their work together blurs the distinctions between dance, theatre, music and installation. Additionally, he has worked with several other well-known artists including Keith Rowe, Faust, EXAUDI and others.He is also an avid supporter of new music and is the director of the Burning Harpsichord Series, a concert programme devoted to high calibre experimental music. He also co-directs the multidisciplinary artist workshop fast+Dirty with Ian Spink, lectures at the University of Surrey and teaches collaborative arts practice at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.Artist Statement

劉熙真 ( HsiJen ), who is good at introducing 3D concepts into traditional hand-painting sprit in her creation process. By adding elements such as freezing, composition, shading, abstraction and Chiaroscuro, her works always have impressive multiple levels and aspects, that are out of this generation with deluge of multicultural and colourful visual works. People always get a sense of beauty of time-space freezing from her works, and naturally hold their breath to figure out the details in it, then linger at one moment of the frame. 2012, started career as GRASS JELLY concept designer. She created many impressing works by using varied media and materials, including music videos of Mayday, Sodagreen, Jolin Tsai, Jay Chou, Show Luo, Elva Hsiao and etc; and many commercial videos for Google, FamilyMart, Sony, TVBS, and etc. The most discussed work during the period is the contest video for "2016 World Design Capital in Taipei." 2014, started working as designer in JL DESIGN. She uses animation techniques to influence whole video with her style and played the role as main visual designer in "The 26th Golden Melody Awards" project. In 2015, she made the start frame for indie film "The Tag-Alone" and for "Disney Celebrating 90 Years of Dreams." in 2016, she is the team leader for making start frame for "2016 World Design Capital in Taipei." The other works she participated including animations for "The 25th Golden Melody Awards," "2014 & 2015 Golden Pin Design Award," "Hualien Media," "Spring Thunder," and etc. She is still working for JL DESIGN now.

Rami Maki, grew up in Baghdad in 1984, surrounded by an artistic family that encouraged him to travel and pursue his dream of creating a company that reflected his passion. His father and mother are both Ceramic artists and graduated from the Academy of Fine Art in Baghdad. SHORT BIO: When I was in second grade, my teacher told me I could draw as I tried to recreate the animals from the African continent from a Disney movie I had seen that weekend with pencil and color crayons. A few classes in college and independent study have encouraged me to use the camera to "see" the world in my unique way.
