Jeanne Quinn is an Assistant Professor and Associate Chair of Graduate Studies in the Department of Art and Art History at the University of Colorado at Boulder. In her work, she creates objects which are seemingly familiar and utilitarian, but displays them in a manner which abstracts the work formally and promotes ideas about gender, the structure of language and communication, the history of objects made for specific use, and autobiographical narrative.
