2010, the Forestry Bureau started the 『Project of important agricultural wetland ecology preservation and revival』to assist people in Fengbin to revive the beautiful contour rice paddies which are high in biodiversity and unique in culture. After following the fallow system for 2 decades, inhabitants in Fengbing gathered together and decided to collaborate with the HFDO and rebuilt the irrigation system. Several months after water flew into the contour rice paddies once again, rice flaring up and down alongside the sea waves in the Pacific Ocean. The wonderful people and culture will come back again and again, just like the ceaseless waves in the ocean.
