About Olivia Olivia is a new, modern, and the first eco-conscious and organic nail salon salon in Baltimore, located at Upper Fells Point, next to famous Johnny Rads Restaurant, founded by two Towson University Graduates, Chin/China Lama & Malati Lama. While in school, Malati got an opportunity to work at T.Rowe Price and John Hopkins. Being in a nail industry for a long time in the neighborhood, they both decided to bring a new change in a neighborhood for a nail salon. Hence, they decided to implement their knowledge they gain through education and work experience in their modern look of nail salon. The familiarity with the area, support and love from their clients from past 8 years gave them to have a nice and sweet move. Sanitation is top priority in Olivia. Anything that can’t be sanitized are either disposed or for you take at home (buffer & nail file). Olivia not only uses organic products for custom manicures and pedicures; it also carries 5-free chemicals (Regular and Gel Polishes) from popular brands, which are favorable for pregnant moms and kids. These polishes nourish your nails and also protect from dehydrations, weakening and staining.   Meaning of Name and Logo Olivia is a word derived from “Olive Tree.” It was originated from Latin. Olivia is popular name from mid century till now. Its the name first universalized by Shakespeare's in his book called "Twelfth Night (Hunter, 2016)."  Since the salon is eco-friendly and based on organic products, it's a perfect fit for the salon's name.  The logo of the salon is for the brand distinctiveness. The Green color Olivia stands for balance, nature, spring, and renaissance. It’s the symbol of prosperity, blossom, and evolution. The leaf symbolizes the Salon is eco-friendly. The Orange color stands for the energy, enthusiasm, happiness, and pledge to caring.
