Over 90 years ago, Bates Nut Farm got its start in Valley Center growing walnuts. The walnut tress are now gone, but we sell nuts from all over the world. We are open year round and have events happening throughout the year including our famous pumpkin patch, gourmet food truck festivals and private tours.

This charming manor house built in 1844 hints of another era. A spacious bridal room and handsome groom’s room allow couples to prepare for a romantic garden ceremony under our enchanting gazebo, and the indoor ballroom is ideal for an intimate reception, private dinner, or corporate meeting.
