Community National Schools are founded in local communities. These schools are child-centred, inclusive, multi-belief, State supported schools which strive to provide a high quality primary education for every child in line with the Primary School curriculum and guidelines laid down by the Department of Education and Skills.

Citywest & Saggart Community National School is a co-educational school that started off with Junior Infants in September 2012. It is a vertical school and it will eventually grow up to 6th class. It provides a child-centred education through which the holistic development of the child is paramount.
