Behind every pet is a hero veterinarian or hero veterinary technician. The American Humane Association Hero Vet Awards, presented by Zoetis, honor their achievements.

American Humane Association’s Humane Heartland farm animal welfare program provides ongoing outreach to farmers in the implementation of humane practices for animals by way of the American Humane Certified program and rigorous, science-based standards. Humane Heartland also provides humane care training for workers, review of equipment that improves animal welfare, humane education, and thought leadership in animal welfare and food issues.
