Skills and Training Enhancement Project (STEP) has been organizing “Skills Competition” for the Diploma-in-Engineering students of polytechnic institutes in Bangladesh to develop and present their creative and innovative ideas. The competition is organized in 3 (three) rounds – (i) Institute level, (ii) Regional level and (iii) National level. Best innovators in the competition at national level receive value worthy prizes and certificates. Thus, the competition helps to expedite innovative ideas, create awareness, strengthen industrial linkage and help popularizing technical education in Bangladesh.
