The Systems Integrity Management Platform, SIMP, is a suite of systems management tools and automated compliance modules. It is Open Source software made publicly available by the National Security Agency on an Apache license. At its core, SIMP is a collection of custom Puppet modules and Ruby script used together to promote security best practice and to enforce regulatory compliance. The SIMP product line is categorized by Open Source, Health, Finance/Retail, and Energy industries. It meets criteria set forth in NIST 800-53, SCAP Security Guides, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, and NER/FERC respectively. SIMP is currently compatible with Red Hat Linux and CentOS Operating Systems. The product is supported commercially by Onyx Point Inc.
