Joshua Winer is an award winning artist specializing in murals, mosaics, mobiles and works of public art. He has also created mosaic murals for schools, libraries, and cultural centers from a variety of materials including Italian glass, Mexican smalti, and handmade ceramic tiles. Over the last twenty years, he has created hundreds of works of art in Boston, Massachusetts, as well as in cities across the United States, including Wayne Michigan, Ottawa Illinois, and San Diego California. For ten years he has been working as a decorative painter at Chateau Picomtal in the French Alps, creating painted finishes including faux-bois, faux marble, stencils, murals, and mural restoration. In addition, Joshua Winer is an educator who teaches classes in Mural Design and Painting, Trompe L'Oeil Painting, and Mosaics at universities and colleges of art and design. He also works as an Artist-in-Residence and as a Visiting Artist in schools throughout New England, creating murals, mosaics and mobiles with students of all ages.
