Initial, Hog Slat a intrat pe piata ca si colaborator al companiei Smithfield Foods, cel mai mare producator mondial de carne de porc, in urma extinderii acestora in Europa de Est. Datorita eforturilor sustinute depuse nu doar de catre echipa din Romania, dar si de catre mai multi membrii ai echipei din Statele Unite, baza noastra de clienti s-a extins pentru a include producatori de carne de porc, mici si mari, din regiune. Un al doilea birou a fost deschis in Poznan, Polonia, in 2008 pentru a deservi cererile din Polonia, Ucraina si Rusia.
