Counter-Strike 1.6 prescurtat CS 1.6 este un joc de shooting dezvoltat de Valve si distribuit prin platforma Steam. Jocul a suferit multe modificari de la modul half-life dar are si expansiuni ca Source, Conditon Zero si mai nou Global Offensive. In joc se regasesc doua echipe care lupta pentru indeplinirea obiectivelor proprii. Cele doua echipe sunt Tero si Counter ele avand misiuni diferite. Obiectivele ambelor echipe difera in functie de harta de joc. Pe hartile cu bomba counteri trebuie sa dezamorseze bomba iar teroristii sa o planteze si sa protejeze zona pentru a nu fi dezactivata. Pe hartile cu ostatici. counterii trebuie sa salveze ostaticii iar terostii sa ii impiedice sa faca acest lucru. Runda se termina atunci cand o echipa isi termina obiectivul/misiunea sau elimina toti membrii din echipa inamica. Jocul poate fi descarcat in versiunea arhivata (zip) sau torent. Nu aveti nevoie de install, pur si simplu dezarhivati folderul dati run fisierului Counter-Strike.exe si va puteti juca. Site-ul este prevazut cu download rapid atat pentru fisierele zip cat si toren. Nu dureaza mai mult de 2 minute descarcarea fisirelor. Jocul a fost imbunatatit si optimizat astfel incat acesta sa ruleze la parametri optimi indiferent daca aveti un PC mai slab. De asemena clientul de counter-strike este prevazut cu o protectie impotriva file-urilor malitioase Indiferent ce veti pati, atunci cand veti da restart la joc se va reveni la setarile initiale. Echipele sunt puse la poziții diferite, de multe ori baze sunt plasate la capetele opuse ale hărții. Membrii echipei primesc bonusuri în bani dacă ucid un membru oponent, dacă salvează un ostatic, dacă membrul este terorist și plasează o bombă sau dacă membrul este anti-tero și dezamorsează bomba. De asemenea el primește la următoarea rundă mai mulți bani dacă echipa respectivă câștigă. Jucătorii uciși în luptă intră în mod de spectator unde pot "zbura" liberi dar nu pot comunica cu cei vii (excepție dacă acest lucru este setat de administrator în consolă). La începutul rundei următoare, ei primesc din nou echipamentul inițial. Obiectivele ambelor echipe diferă de tipul de hartă ales. Tabela de scor arată scorul echipelor conform statisticilor pentru fiecare jucător numele, scorul (câți jucători a ucis), deaths (de câte ori a murit) și ping-ul (sau LAG-ul în milisecunde). Deși Counter-Strike este menit a fi mai realistic decât FPS-urile futuristice ca și Quake III Arena și Unreal Tournament, el păstrează rapiditatea și simplitatea acțiunii pierzând calitatea detaliilor. Pentru a ucide un jucător nu sunt necesare decât câteva lovituri, iar loviturile nu au impact asupra abilității de a fugi și a sări, permițând unui jucător să fie rănit dar să se comporte la fel ca unul care nu este rănit. I enjoy the outdoors and sports, and when I get old I will be be an avid traveler. ;) The sky amazes me and I have recently began taking random photos of it (awesome for overlays)...., I would love to have a second house at the ocean. I have an obsession with dying my hair random colors dependent upon my mood, and lately am rarely seen without a bandana tied around my head. If asked about my favorite color, I would have to say that I love them all (which is reflected throughout the walls of my home) yet I always gravitate toward things that are black. I am inspired in one way or another by everything that I have ever seen or experienced. (good, bad, and ugly) I like to think that I am a very intelligent person, I have an extremely sarcastic sense of humor at times, and I truly enjoy people. I have a very good sense of style, although my clothing choices for myself may not always reflect that as I am often in a tank top and jeans. (That said, you will never catch me dead in "mom" jeans) I drive too fast, and love music....all genres, like in a "My name is Amanda and I must be schizophrenic due to my playlist" kind of way.... I am not a "professionally trained photographer" so I can show you no credentials aside from my portfolio, as I am completely self taught and expand on my creativity and knowledge whenever possible. I suppose we can call me an extremely passionate artist of the lens, eager to capture and create some fantastic images for you. We are each an unique work of art, I am here to make sure your portraits reflect just that. I can produce a perfectly beautiful image of you sooc (straight out of camera), although rarely will I ever be satisfied with leaving it at that. I would like to consider myself extremely versatile in the creativity department. I love to do themed shoots, and can create costumes as well as other items necessary to pull them off. I have an eye for location, and love and appreciate natural light and texture. I am slightly "edgy", and love to think outside of the box. While there is nothing "conservative" about my taste or personality, I am able to mold my creative juices to suit the situation.
