We are a sustainable business that promotes achievable solutions to the most pressing challenges of our times: intractable poverty and climate change. Our stoves reduce the health impacts of traditional cookstoves, help families save money on fuel and ultimately save one of our planet’s most precious commodities: its trees. We take a user-centred approach to the design and development of our modern African cookstoves. In the next 5 years, we will graduate our customers from reliance on charcoal to cleaner fuel.

Our focus is on Household energy which includes technologies and fuels such as: stoves, wind, hydro, solar, biochar, biofuels, biogas, biofuels and Briquettes and Pellets. these are used for cooking heating, lighting and refrigeration. We also consider aspects of project design for the integration, distribution and dissemination of technology to ensure sustainable projects. This requires consideration of financing, marketing, communications, monitoring and evaluation, policy, capacity building and replicability and up scaling. these help to contribute to improving the livelihoods of those in low income countries addressing issues of climate change, deforestation, empowering women by addressing gender issues relating to cookstoves and facilitating knowledge sharing and networking on issues of health impacts from indoor air pollution.
