The Philippine Society of Agricultural Engineers (PSAE) was founded in 1950 to advance the theory and practice of agricultural engineering. PSAE is a non-profit professional organization duly registered by the Securities and Exchange Commission in accordance with the Corporation Code of the Philippines (Batas Pambansa Blg. 68), approved on May 1, 1980. PSAE is the only accredited national organization of about 5,800 licensed agricultural engineers by the Professional Regulatory Commission that can be mobilized for the provision of professional and technical services as provided for under the Philippine Agricultural Engineering Act of 1998 (RA 8559).
