The Sylvester Broome Empowerment Village is a community center in northern Flint, Michigan. At SBEV we focus the youth on nurturing their leadership and educational skills so they can become active, informed, and relentless agents of their own success. At the Broome Center we provide academic and mentoring programs, athletics, job development and job placement services, and opportunities that are all designed to incorporate the voice of young people, their families, and the community, empowering the youth in Flint and their communities; giving them a voice in the world.
